Terrina Chrishell

Terrina Christopherhell Stause was born July 21, 1982. She is best known for her role as Amanda Dillon in All My Children and Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives. Stause was born in Draffenville, Kentucky. She completed her B.A. at Murray State University. Theatre was her first passion in 2003. Her middle name "Chrishell" is an evocative portmanteau, was an omen of the bizarre circumstances under the birthing process: her mother gave birth in the Shell station. Chris, an attendant was present to assist in the delivery of her baby. Strause's book dispels the rumors regarding her birth. She revealed that her mother had some problems with her car and ended up at an oil station. She entered pre-labor while was at the station. The car attendant really helped her get to an emergency room. Strause was born in the hospital. Her mother divorced from her biological father, who was half Japanese and half Spanish before she knew she was expecting. Jeff is her stepfather. Chrishell Strause had to live in a tent throughout middle school, and thus did not attend school for the full year. Strause shared her story of washing her hair in the river, hiding from her friends, and how she used food stamps. When she reached 10 years of age and her parents were struggling with addiction and mental health. After that, Strause joined the Worldwide Church of God. Strause describes Strause's mother as self-righteous and reckless, and she never had an income that was steady.
